Oak View Group is hiring a Payroll Coordinator, for our Philadelphia office.

Oak View Group is a sports and entertainment company engaged in a wide variety of activities, including arena development, facility management, arena and stadium alliance, sponsorships and partnerships, security services, publications, conferences, and consulting. The company, privately held, is headquartered in Los Angeles, California with offices throughout the world.

The Payroll Coordinator is responsible for multi-state payroll processing in a fast-paced environment. Completes high-quality data entry, meets process deadlines, adheres to defined process tasks, demonstrates attention to detail, and timely communicates risk. Demonstrates the ability to develop broad and deep payroll and systems expertise and deliver accurate and timely employee payments. Utilizes others for instruction, guidance, and direction. 

This position has the hybrid-work option.
  • Provide Customer service and support to Oak View Group facilities located across the country
  • Act as a payroll liaison between Corporate Payroll and Oak View Group Facilities
  • Process multi-state bi-weekly payrolls for various entities and pay groups
  • Process employee timecard data using e-Time
  • Reviews payroll registers for assigned locations to ensure that all time entry data has been prepared for processing
  • Verifies hours worked; computes and verifies correct deductions
  • Receives and enters adjustments to the on-cycle payroll process for assigned locations
  • Validates and prepares off-cycle manual check requests to ensure that all employees receive any additional funds owed
  • Assist with uploading files for new hires and employee changes using ADP EV5 Payroll Systems
  • Process employee direct deposits and tax withholding changes
  • Maintains the accuracy and integrity of the payroll system by carefully reviewing all entries made and remaining aware of their impact on the payroll process
  • Always maintains confidentiality regarding associates’ personal information and payroll data
  • Create and audit reports required by local Collective Bargaining Agreements
  • Assist in the evaluation of the ADP EV5 Payroll System to determine changes necessary for better process flow
  • Assist in documenting all payroll processes and procedures

  • 3-5 years minimum experience in a fast past, multi-state payroll environment
  • Thorough knowledge & understanding of ADP Enterprise Payroll & ADP e-Time. TimeSaver & ADP GL Experience a plus.
  • Proficient in Windows environment with very strong Excel skills
  • Must be accurate and efficient with the ability to meet deadlines
